BIOGRAPHY

Gareth's life in film and television began in Mexico City where he worked on a televised international opera competition with Placido Domingo and was subsequently hired as Third Assistant Director on a Mexican soap opera called 'Imperio de Cristal' (Crystal Empire).
After working for the late, great Nik Powell at Scala Productions in development, he moved on to writing television shows for the BBC and ITV and eventually completed his first feature script, which was picked up by Working Title and went into production soon after.
THE BAKER, starring Damian Lewis (HOMELAND), Kate Ashfield (SHAUN OF THE DEAD), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (GAME OF THRONES) and Michael Gambon (HARRY POTTER) won numerous awards and nominations (Best Feature at the Riverrun International Film Festival, Best Director at the Naples international Film Festival and Best Director at Tremblant Film Festival).
A move to Los Angeles followed, where he wrote for television for NBC Universal and CBS, while continuing to develop feature projects.
